About the Author
Daniel Robinson researched the award-winning first edition of Lonely Planet's Cambodia guidebook back in 1989, when Phnom Penh - Siem Reap flights stayed over the middle of the Tonlé Sap to avoid ground fire and, for three days, he was the only guest at Siem Reap's only hotel; the story of his misadventures in a mined temple appears in Lonely Planet Unpacked Again. These days his favourite spots for chilling are the (for now) pristine west coast of Koh Kong Island, the foggy ruins of Bokor Hill Station and the rocky promontory at Prasat Preah Vihear, where breathtaking views stretch almost to Angkor. Daniel is based in Tel Aviv and Los Angeles.

I ordered this book to help prepare for an upcoming trip to Borneo. It arrived as advertised and on time. The book provides good general information along with listings of places to eat and stay (mostly probably outdated since I ordered a used copy, but that's on me). I'd like more pictures of the flora and fauna and more do's and dont's regarding the culture.
This guide is the most complete one I have seen. It has facts about one of the most remote places on Earth. All of the information is organized logically, and specifics are easy to find.
Just returned from Borneo. Can't go wrong with Lonely Planet!

Not updated (as usual lately with all Lonely Planets Guide)
It took me awhile to get used to reading this book on my ipad. I'm used to real live books that you can easy find a page. I felt this book was an okay travel book. I felt that it didn't go into to much detail as other travel books but maybe Borneo as a destination makes it that way.
