An enjoyable series. Keeps your attention. I am a huge fan of Amish Fiction. I read an Amish novel every few days. Their lifestyle reminds me of the way I grew up, without a lot of modern conviences. Their love of God, Family, and Friends is amazing.
AMISH HONOR is the second in The Amish Bonnet Sisters series by Samantha Price. It is a precious story that picks up right after Mercy’s wedding and the day before Honor's birthday. Florence Baker is so tired, but she and her sisters must come up with an idea as to how to make some extra money. To everyone's excitement, Honor has an idea.... a good one too.As the guest for Honor's birthday celebration is discussed, Jonathon's name is included. Florence is none too happy about this even if he is their brother-in-law. She considers him to be unreliable and untrustworthy. Besides, both Honor and Cherish have a crush on him. Both girls are too young even to consider such things.After dealing with a runaway sister and sister rivalry, Florence was beginning to believe it would never be her turn for happiness. Now the question arises, what about the handsome Englisher, Carter, who has some secret to hide while causing tingling in her whole being.This is another great addition to Samantha's long list of wonderful stories.I was given an ARC in exchange for my true and honest opinion.
Well the seond book is even better then the first, you know that is really hard to say because all heer books ate number one as far as I am concerned an also others that have even read one of her books. I hope a number three will follow because I am always there waiting to find out what happens to everyone in the stories, Samantha Price has this thing about pulling you right into her books even when you don't think it will happen, it does please read an then make a review on your true feeling about what you gained from each one of her books she really likes to hear from everyone an with their own words don't copy someone else's review as your own that is not being truthful. Amish Honor book 2 in The Amish Bonnet Series. I am loving this series. Page flippers. I do not want to quit reading once I start. Well written sweet Amish Romance. Honor has fallen in love with Johnathan. Problem is someone else thinks she is too. Johnathan has caused trouble before and known to be a flirt. So Honor's Mother and sister Florence are not keen on them being together. So they do something they should never have done. Want to know what get this book. Will either girl end up with Johnathon. Speaking of romance there is a Christmas package left for Florence . Who could it be from? Note says Secret Admirer. Hmmm.... wonder who this could be? Samantha's books are well written and you will fall in love with the characters.
The 2nd book is a continuation of the series and it is best if you read the books in order. Honor is 17 years old but she is Wilma's daughter not a step. Honor has fallen for an Amish man who is in his 20's and nothing anybody can say can stop her from seeing this man. So she runs away with him. Florence finds out and has the man next door who isn't Amish take her in his car to go bring Honor home. It is well written Very exciting book to find out what happens next
